Standards

European standards are developed and published by standardization bodies. Their aim is to define the directives to be followed in order to make articles that meet consumer expectations, while respecting safety and environmental requirements.

In the field of textiles, there are indeed a multitude of standards.
The European Committee for Standardization determines the type of clothing authorized to be worn for each profession. No other body or association is empowered to do so.

It is possible to combine the top and bottom of the garments for the specific purpose of validating certain standards. In all cases, the standards in force for each of the professions concerned must be respected.
